As a student pilot Ive found that using this app helps tremendously in the process of understanding the various calculations and the relationships between values. Certainly less of a pilot distraction than manually calculating various things en route.

Overall this is a useful tool but I can across a problem while studying for the CFI written that it doesnt do which is heading calc to get back on track given #miles off course.

Has all what you need and all calculations can be done here.... Instead of using the stupid manual E6B just use this app, all fuel, time, distance and much more calculations

So METAR AND TAF dont update anymore, the last update was 2015, does anyone even check/work on this anymore?? Its almost useless for anything current, now its just a calculator, which I can find elsewhere. Did you stop weather reporting to promote your METAR APP? I paid for this, put those functions BACK!!!

The day before yesterday,I was found an error in downloading Aviation weather on my IOS 10 and then I sent a feedback to fix it.After a day later,they gave an update and it was fixed finally.Hardworking programmers, thanks a lot. Best wishes

It has been a long while since last using this app. The new (to me) appearance and organization make it easier to use.

This is a very well made app. It has a great look to it and it features calculations that make it quite useful for flight planning. I hope they update it in the future with even more calculation possibilities.

This app is really intuitive and makes the preflight process that much easier. However, the recent update added character underlines to the calculator which has done nothing for me but make the calculator harder to read, even right in front of my face. There are only a few letters and numbers that ever need an underline for recognition and the "=" symbol isnt one of them. Nor any of the other mathematical symbols which only read one direction. Maybe this was prompted by some guy who held his phone inside down while flying but if the safety of your flight depends on character underlines on your e6b calculator then you clearly should never have entered that situation be begin with. Please get rid of the underlines or give us an option to turn them off. They look silly.

I have had this app for 2 year and been though many updates. Its useful especially for quick fuel, wind, conversion and altitude calculations. The menus are easy to navigate and information is laid out logically.

The integration of weather is a great feature. The only thing lacking is the carry forward of one calculation to the next the way all other flight calculators work. Its disappointing to calculate pressure altitude then have to re-enter the numbers again to calculate density altitude.

I agree with JNM565. It does lack the calculation carry over feature. Its a pain in the backside to keep going back to the previous calculation to get the further needed answers such as his density alt calculation

True airspeed (TAS) is derived from Calibrated Airspeed at a given altitude and temperature. This app derives TAS from Indicated Airspeed (IAS) thats incorrect.

Seems that since I updated my Iphone 3GS to the IOS 5.0, this app doesnt work. Is anyone else having the same problem? I agree with everyone else that this app lacks the multitasking feature and W&B info. Another thing that I would love to see is a feature where you could check the NOTAMS. Other than those things, I use this app almost on a daily basis, several times a day.
